Non-Profit Organization to Host Global Business Summit and Opportunity Fair

This annual event is the largest “minority” business opportunity fair and supplier diversity conference in the State of Indiana. The primary focus of this two-day event is to network both majority corporations and minority business enterprises in addition to providing education and visibility in the area of supplier diversity. The agenda for this two-day event includes an exhibitor trade show featuring certified minority suppliers, corporate luncheon, networking reception, and premier educational workshops with a global business focus. The event attracts over 1,200 attendees each year. The conference is an excellent opportunity for purchasing professionals, corporate CEO’s, and human resource professionals wanting to learn more about the importance of corporate supplier diversity programs. In addition, this event is a must for minority businesses owners seeking to connect and potentially do business with top Indiana and National corporations.
About the Indiana Minority Supplier Development Council
The Indiana Minority Supplier Development Council is a free standing minority supplier development council. The Council is comprised of over 140 local and National corporate members and maintains a database of over 400 certified minority suppliers. The organization is an affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), and one of thirty-eight regional councils operating in the United States. The Indiana Minority Supplier Development Council was created by the Indianapolis business community in the mid ‘70s to address and support minority business development.
